Dajve is an ambient side project from Austin's own sequencer savant Chris McDowell. Most well known for his other moniker Solar Shield or Very Rich.
His first s/t release [GiD-015] is a beautiful yet playful one. Intended to help comfort one another.
All tracks were recorded in one take using a looper and various synthesizers. This release showcases McDowell's ability to excel even when producing more stripped back / minimal projects.
Chris is also an electric engineer & owner of @supersynthesis , a musical instrument design and manufacturing firm based in Austin, specializing in analog and digital synthesizers modules in the Eurorack format. For more info visit supersynthesis.com
